NAECCEM was conceived from the idea derived from the Global Movement for Children in 2001, which amplified the rights and betterment of children. There was thus, a pressing need to unite early childhood professionals with parents families, child-related agencies, government and private sectors in Malaysia. What better way to do this than through Education. This way we are able to have a strong and effective voice for chilren as well as become the facal point for all activitirs designed to achieve high quality early childrenhood care and education
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in 2016 sets out 17 goals towards thansformaing and achieving a better world. One of which is "to ensure includsive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning". The sits nicely with NAECCEM 's objectives, which is to raise and enhance quality of early childcare and education and that of children's services. It is imperative to recognize that children are the future, that they are critical agents of change for a better tomorrow.
